DealsCommunity works because members share real deals and honest opinions. These rules keep it useful for everyone.
Posting a deal
- Post real, current deals only. Check the price on the store’s page before you post.
- Be accurate. The title, price, regular price, store, coupon code and end date must match what the store shows.
- Link to the product page on the store’s own site — no shortened, redirect or referral links.
- One deal per post. Search first; don’t repost a deal that’s already on the site.
- Say if you’re connected to the seller or brand (you work for them, were given the product, or are paid).
- Use your own words and photos, or the store’s product image. Don’t copy other sites’ write-ups.
Replies and votes
- Be respectful. Disagree with the deal, not the person.
- Share useful info: a better price, a working code, whether it’s still live.
- Vote honestly. Don’t vote on your own deals from other accounts.
Not allowed
- Spam, ads, self-promotion or your own referral/affiliate links
- Fake, misleading or bait-and-switch deals, and price or stock you haven’t checked
- Content you don’t have the right to post (unauthorised submissions)
- Counterfeit, illegal, adult, weapons or recalled products
- Harassment, hate speech, threats or personal information about others
- Multiple accounts, vote manipulation or automated posting
What happens if you break the rules
Spamming, incorrect deals or unauthorised submissions get you banned. Depending on how serious or repeated it is, we may:
- Edit or remove the post
- Send a warning
- Put your future posts on review before they go live
- Suspend your account
- Permanently ban your account — immediately, without warning, for spam or deliberate misuse
Moderators decide; we may remove any content at our discretion.
